Description
A speed paint that FAILED as a speedpaint. This took three hours!
The proportions are all off, from the head to the torso to the arms (and the legs were so bad I just cut them off wholesale to spare you all the tragedy). The body isn't tilted right, the belts aren't shaped right, and I made the stupid decision of back-lighting him. What was I THINKING???
Sigh.
About the only thing I like about this piece is the buckle of his harness, and the red sash, and possibly some of his white robes.
Still it's a step along the path. If nothing else I learned a lot about hand-painting something. It's really not the same as cell shading, which I kept trying to do, so the next time I try this hopefullyI'll remember and I'll do it a different way to make it easier.

stop to be so critic to yourself, i'll never be able to do something like that! i can drawing a bit, but something like that?...long time after, maybe.
