Speedpaint here.
Last in the Jpony series, we now have Twilight-hime in front of the shoji that will lead to her imperial court... or something. Her kimono isn't nearly fancy enough to count as a princess' attire, and her obi is more of a geisha design, but overall I love how it came out. Her wings look fantastic, as does her hair and her headdress (which took... like... five tries to do...? You can see it on the speedpaint). The background is solid, the tatami give the room a sense of depth, as does the ceiling. Squee for sun and moon symbols on the shoji, no nods to another pair of princesses, nope, nosiree; and I love the clouds, they look perfectly Japanese.
This was a fun series to do, I learned a lot in terms of capturing my painting and turning them into videos, and I learned a little bit about ponies and how to paint them, and I turned out some good work - a few ponies aside (coughcoughRDcoughcough)
So:
What I like: the coverall colors, the background, the wings, the hair/headdress
What I don't like: the background still looks flat even with the perspective.
As always, let me know what you think!

Looks great. The reason your background looks so flat is because your shadows aren't strong enough, push the contrast there and that should help a lot.
