Magical Girl Cinderella

So. Cinderella. I'm using the Disney princesses to practice my use of light, and here, instead of dynamic lighting I tried to experiment with what lighting could do with color. The point where Cinderella's life changes is when she realizes a) she had a godmother, and b) the godmother's a fairy. Technically I should have done the meeting, but for the sake of the lighting instead I did the transformation; and my anime roots show up because I totally paid hommage to magical girl transformations, including abstract background and vague magic bubbles.

The shading itself isn't any great strokes, and pretty standard for me, but this was more an exploit of seeing how light affected color. Anime mahou shojo get some pretty pastel colors, and I wanted to see how abstract I could make the shading, so everything is in shades of green, blue, or purple. It certainly creates a mood! Overall I'm happy with it.

So:

What I like: the mood, the color harmony, the heavy mahou-shojo vibe.

What I don't like: nitpicks: her lips, the shape of one of her fingers, the magical glow of her transformation.
